Hurst Accountants, Stockport

Sheila Bird Studio, an independent creative studio based in Manchester, UK, was entrusted with Hurst Accountants recent relocation into the brand new Stockport Exchange building.

Ambitious growth plans within the accountancy firm led them to take on over 11,000 sq ft within this prime real estate location on the 5th floor.

The space was transformed by the studio to accommodate flexible working patterns, collaboration between departments and client meetings.

Armed with a bright and contemporary palette, Sheila Bird Studio chose the Maluma seating system for the client reception space, upholstered in a luxurious array of orange shades.

Across the project, sustainable choices were at the forefront of the design, prioritising upholstered pieces with removable covers as can be seen with Maluma. Maluma is a product fit for the circular economy, and is designed for disassembly ensuring the product and it's materials can be in use for a considerable lifespan due to easy refurbishment and replacement of parts.
